Astrid Lindgren’s talent to enchant readers across generations is unmatched by most. “Stories from Smaland“ tells the story of some of her rather unknown heroes, such as small Sammelaugust, whose real name is Samuel August, or of Poly, who is only called the Poly Patent by her grandmother. Masterfully played by Stefan Kügel, the audience is transported into a world, full of small heroes and very big emotions.
