Inflated teddy bears explode, ping pong balls fall from the ceiling and an oversized set of teeth blows bubble gum. “Big Bears Cry Too“ is a performance that deals with the vulnerability that people experience in this large and incomprehensible universe. With her first production also dedicated to a young audience, the Belgian artist Miet Warlop impresses once again with a smart, radical, disturbing and visually powerful object theatre performance.
