Every Sunday, a character named Serge presents short performances with minimal special effects to his friends. These showings are touching attempts at communication by an alienated group of people and unmask their isolation in a globally networked world. Written by the famous French director Philippe Quesne for the actor Gaëtan Vourc’h, “L’Effet de Serge“ is now one of the all-time classics of the international independent theatre scene.
