EUTOPIA! is real. In the middle of Fürth. In the Südstadtpark. On a meadow in the rectangle. In front of the music school. Suddenly there. Open to everyone. From 3 to 9 pm. On a bridge day. Which offers the opportunity to take your time. For yourself, the family, for friends. And for thoughts and activities for which there is normally so little time left. Out into nature, just letting your mind wander, being aimless on green lawn. Let’s go to EUTOPIA! Where culture and nature mix, where biopolitical lines and informal rhizomes complement each other, where we can work proactively on avoiding attracting attention – to say so from the perspective of nature, climate, evolution or the earth. It is important not to forget humanity, because that is the only thing that is really our own. In all its facets. Including the responsible organisational task: How do we want to live today and in the future?

3:00 until 9:00 pm – Ethiopian Cultural Association Nuremberg | The planet under a single roof
In an open world, where all human beings are astronauts, we live scattered on spaceship Earth. In EUTOPIA!, a geodesic dome, conceptualized according to the idea of architect Buckminster Fuller, acts as a global meeting space for the international crew. It is made to exchange cultural and spiritual knowledge, in basic ceremonies of communication, through elemental cultural techniques, in favour of the boundless interconnections of all things and possibilities, by invitation between near and far.
3:00 until 9:00 pm – Titus Spree | ‘moving micro office’
The ‘moving micro office’ is a working space on wheels and was developed in Tokyo in 2000. Without much effort, it moves through the city and positions itself spontaneously and temporarily in public space. Besides its mobility guarantee, the mmo offers above all creative freedom as well as active participation in society. It is a medium that enables us to enter into dialogue with places and people, and to stimulate new ideas for life in the city. titusspree.com

Whether it is the earth, a human or a sculpture – every solid body is based on a system of ordering. What does that mean for us? Are we constructors or are we constructions? Or are we both? In the footsteps of “Deus Geometer”, the primal proportions of creation are explored with string and bar, within a space frame. It asks whether we are defining aesthetic positions of individuals or even generating a global transformation of the social sculpture. An architectural field experiment with All-We-Make, Les Ampoules and Projekt.Heizhaus.
3:00 until 5:00 pm – Filipos Asfaw & Band | Ethiopian Sounds
The sound of sitar and drum played in a well-established rhythm quickly becomes representative of one specific culture. However, an added saxophone whirls this fusion and opens the sound and lets it resonate. The swinging dance, replaced by wild creatures, paired with electric sounds, in the midst of global infrastructures – additional actors who want to focus the perception of the event in the here and now: EUTOPIA! Sound with all your melodies and compositions!

Where are we when we are here? Origin and socialization characterize mankind and its thinking, especially when it ventures into the unknown and wants to find its way there. In a new culture, in a new ideology. The Amharic term መላመድ, “Melamed”, enables us to discover word concepts between self and stranger such as homeland, tradition or identity, which are then revealed and re-anchored. Watch, sit down, listen, play – everything is possible.
4:30 until 5:00 pm – Punch*AG | PUNCH BORDER MINISTRY – participatory rapid installation
Punch Agathe moves through the urban space with her anarchist entourage. Everyone wants to create a limitless vision of the future. Punch Agathe‘s mother, the legendary Fuck Border Hippo, is in her element, for a long time she has spread the word on her skin across all borders – consistent, radical, eutopic. Punch*AG is an international collaboration of artists from various continents, which has been operating globally since March 2018. www.punchagathe.com
5:00 until 8:00 pm – Organ Mug | Eutopian Sounds
Rooms are noisy. They are open, sectioned, indistinguishable. They transform into places as they compress their frequencies. They vibrate, and generate perspectives and identities. They become fleeting when they let go, when they become a wave in the oceanic feeling, invisibly liquefying their energies in space. That’s the sound of EUTOPIA! It is everywhere. It harmonizes, it scrunches, it levigates, is always present, barely there, already gone, always eventful.
5:00 until 6:00 pm – Marian Kaiser | Revolving Stars & Shaky Grounds
“Eutopia” is a beautiful place whereas “Utopia” is a place that does not (or not yet) exist. In English pronunciation, both terms become one. The good future – but how does it come about? Isn’t it machines and models that are predicting today’s events from yesterday’s data? In a designed space, in an architecture that may perhaps be a realistic eutopia, just like “Red Vienna” at the beginning of the 20th century? And what happens in the here and now, right in the middle of EUTOPIA!?

Techniques of communication create spaces of possibility where dreamers are welcome. Through images that shape our thoughts and with a pencil that can provoke creative associations and ideas. To find viable and local answers for urgent social and ecological questions together. Grit Koalick, a draftswoman with a love of detail, narrates with her pictures about architectural and urban spaces, sustainability, transformation and the future. www.visuranto.de
9:00 until 10:00 pm – Organ Mug | Electric Concert ‘Here And There’
From the minimal pop sounds to the electronics and free jazz, the listeners will find themselves under the spell of Organ Mug’s multi-faceted stream of music and his haunting voice. It starts out with a carefree ode to escape. But this beautiful dream progressively slides into a dystopian world where the industrial noises of automats, cars and computers clash with traditional oriental sounds and occidental instruments. All these divergent, poignant moods are mixed in Organ Mug’s new headquarters, in an old farm house in the countryside of Vaud, Switzerland.
