Tears or Can Dolls Cry? - An Exhibition

Physiologically, humans are the only beings that can shed tears at all. However, aren’t dolls able to cry too? What happens to the flow of tears when it freezes? Is crying a communicative act? What is the sound of a tear? These and other questions were answered by the project seminar “Tears” of the BA Program Theater and Media Studies at the FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg led by Kay Kirchmann.

The exhibition at the Base Camp (Dreikönigstr. 1–3) is open from Friday, May 24 until Sunday, June 2 from 9 am until 11 pm every day.
