German Premiere
Inspired by Samuel Beckett’s play “Waiting for Godot“, the preliminary exercise of the show’s preparation followed a non-verbal exposure of the themes proposed by the play. Featuring only bunraku dolls, each doll’s character is reduced to a few gestures. Founded in 2002, Synchret Theatre Company is an unconventional, non-commercial theatre company. Texts of universal dramaturgy considered “classic“ are reinterpreted on the stage, with Synchret leaving its mark.
