Alternative Post-show Discussions

In cooperation with the Institute of Theatre and Media Studies FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg

Theatre Studies believe that  the audience plays a key role in the success of theatrical performances. In order to examine this assumption and to actively engage with what is seen on stage, four alternative post-show discussions, which ask for a vital audience participation, are planned after selected festival performances.  Initially developped as part of a project seminar at the Institute of Theater and Media Studies  run by Dr. Hans-Friedrich Bormann, these discussions create diverse spaces and situations, in which the audience is challenged to voice out their opinion and exchange ideas.
