The Young Forum International functions as a meeting platform for participating academy of performing arts students and graduates and the audience. It attempts to offer new opportunities for artistic exchange as well as a stage to present student projects to a broader audience. Its workshop character focuses on the artistic development by encouraging discussions about student work and artistic approaches. Additional workshops and panels foster innovative impulses as well as insights into the diverse methods, procedures and practices of contemporary Figurentheater. The „Base Camp JFI“ (Altstadtmarktpassage, Hauptstr. 55) functions as an open meeting place for encounters and experiments. The Young Forum International is organised in cooperation with the Institute for Media and Theatre Studies of the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg.
