“The Pixelated Revolution” examines the viral impact of mobile phones and social media on the dissemination of information and mobilization in the recent devastating Syrian revolution. Rabih Mroué, currently one of the most important Lebanese artists, highlights not only the deteriorating situation in the region, but also the unsettling, unprecedented enmeshment of political activism, cinematography and technology in the reality of war.
The performance will be followed by an artist talk in English.
