In the past two years the puppet theater scene has been further enriched by an exciting new format: Puppetry Slam Berlin, Germany’s first puppet theater competition, which has now become a staple of the small stage scene across the country. After its huge success at the figuren.theater.festival in 2015, Puppetry Slam Berlin was an international sensation in Mexico where they were invited on behalf of the Goethe Institut. It now returns to Nürnberg.
