The dynamics of fear and hysteria are the central topics in Fritz Lang´s movie classic “M“ from 1931. Society reveals its destructive potential in the hunt for an enigmatic child murderer. Roscha A. Säidow´s play mirrors the absurdities of a society-gone-nuts by combining musical and vocal performance and acting with a variety of puppets. Just like the mad mechanisms it depicts – it´s a Freakshow!
