“Ersatz” is Julien Mellano’s freely fantasised projection of the man of tomorrow. A vision of a potential monster, this man is the absurd result of the alchemy between humans and machines. Enter the black hole of a freely imagined technological future that is already part of us! Analogue objects play virtual reality in this melancholic farce without words, leaving us amused as well as disturbed.
