What Robots Need To Learn
Spectacular, satirical and hilarious, the inventors of the stage comic, who won the RTL casting show “Die Puppenstars”, take us into a world of puppet and shadow play, animation and music, in which technology overtakes evolution.
After “Kafka in Wonderland” and “The Last Mortal”, the latest piece “What Robots Need To Learn” now concludes the trilogy about the technology corporation “Wonderland Inc”. The goal of the company is to improve mankind and society with technological means. The perfect social system is to be found by means of simulations. The trilogy culminates in the invention of a Wonderland AI, which, however, develops faster than planned and follows its own agenda.
half past selber schuld, the cult formation from Düsseldorf around musician Ilanit Magarshak-Riegg and comic artist Sir ladybug beetle, have already developed 13 stage comics, five audio comics, a multitude of small video clips as well as lots of lyrics and music performances. With “What Robots Need To Learn” they pull out all the stops again and create a utopian and at the same time dystopian picture of the future. In addition, half past selber schuld presents “See the World Like a Human Being”, a first book, as well as the music album “30,000 Days”.
In Erlangen and Nürnberg, the second part of the trilogy “Wonderland Inc.”, “The Last Mortal,” will also run in the festival programme.
