This solo performance, a mixture of storytelling, acting, puppetry and shadow play, looks at war and refugees from the perspective of a child. As the war breaks out in her country and her father is called up, Toda needs to escape to cross the border. On her adventurous path she meets different people: a money-grubbing trafficker, an overstrained governess, children who are supposed to give away their toy and a commander who cannot command.
