Der Tag, an dem Louis gefressen wurde
A monstrous adventure
Reluctantly, Lilli and her little brother Louis spend the weekend with their aunts. The two women are strange and the house they live in is creepy. What Lilli and Louis don’t know: The aunts run a secret school for monsters. At the same time as Lilli and Louis arrive, the aunts receive a new shipment of monsters. So it comes as it must come: Louis is devoured by a swallower. Swallow! Lilli has to do something immediately. Fortunately, she is extremely resourceful and brave: she hitched her bike to the monster’s heels and had to watch it being eaten by a snapper. Snap! Shortly afterwards, the snapper lands in the maw of a chaetscher – Chaetsch! – and this in turn becomes the victim of a Grapscher. Grapsch! Undeterred, Lilli follows the monsters and a turbulent chase through the sea, the desert, over the mountains and into the monster’s stomach begins, in which the smallest are the biggest in the end.
Theater Gustavs Schwestern is back with two action-packed productions in which the Swiss puppeteers playfully show how little it takes to tell exciting stories.
